Dr. Vitaly Terushkin is a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified Mohs surgeon. He graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University and subsequently attended New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. During medical school, he spent a year conducting clinical research in cutaneous oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and received the Marion B. Sulzberger Award for Excellence in Dermatology.
After completing an internship in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, he returned to NYU for his dermatology training where he served as a Chief Resident during his final year. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Terushkin sought additional specialized training and completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology under the mentorship of Drs. Zitelli and Brodland. Dr. Terushkin has authored multiple articles in cutaneous oncology and laser surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American College of Mohs Surgery. He is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.
